Persevere to Victory!
Description: Encouraging students that their dreams are attainable and their problems and challenges are
conquerable using the amazing true story of Samuel Nehemiah, who went from orphan to Worldwide
Wheelchair Champion; his obstacles were physical, academic, social, and relational. Samuels
powerful story teaches life lessons of respect, perseverance, the damaging pressures of drugs,
bullying, and the power of caring teachers, etc. Using positive influences and true role models out
program is sure to teach and reinforce character based principles that children will practice for life!
Requirements: A gymnasium or cafeteria would be perfect, projector screen if available.
Visual Arts Description:
The visual arts school assemblies are created with art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture. Many artistic disciplines that will help your students get more engaged and understand all aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
