Description: This language arts program utilizes animal science, varying styles of music and art to foster children’s
creative talents and nurture literature appreciation. Children n will get to actively practice listening
skills and following directions while learning how various talents were integrated to create a tangible
product.
Requirements: It would be helpful if children knew the meanings of the words: author, illustrator, lyrics and poetry
and the teacher had discussed how words (poetry) become lyrics when they are sang a cappella or
accompanied by music.Â
