Classics 4 Kids will come to your classroom for a 45 minute hands-on, interactive presentation. These assemblies foster creative thinking, cultural awareness and problem solving in a fun, educational environment. Our four workshops are available year-round, including summer, and are aligned with California Common Core standards for science, math and reading.
PATTERN PLAY TRIO:
Students learn about the string and woodwind instruments, perform on classroom percussion instruments, and hear a variety of music of many genres: classical, ragtime, jazz, ballroom, and more.
WORLD OF PERCUSSION:
Students take a rhythmic trip around the world in this interactive in-school assembly. Discover percussion instruments from Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including maracas, xylophones, cymbals, whistles, and so much more.
SOUND SCIENCE:
This S.T.E.A.M centered in-school assembly explores the science of sound, and how instruments make music. The fun and creative format encourages student participation and fosters deeps connections in music and science.
MUSIC FOR UKES TRIO:
Join ukulele superstars Sarah Maisel and Craig Chee in an interactive program all about the power of music. Students learn about the ukulele and string bass, sing-a-long to fun songs, and make deep understandings of how music connects our world.

Our students, staff and parent chaperones thoroughly enjoyed the Hawaiian concert! Classics 4 Kids always provide a top-notch concert for young kids! We appreciate your great organization within your staff in and out of the theater. We always love the audience participation and interaction between the conductor, musicians, and dancers. The pre-show entertainment was a great idea to keep everyone engaged as the other schools were being seated. Thank you for always responding promptly with me through the emails. We continue to keep coming to the Classics 4 Kids concerts every year! - Edna Carel, CTCA Music Director
You are such a wonderful program. Truly the highlight of our year. Thank you for sharing the arts with us. We loved it.

Thank you so much for a great opportunity, it was an amazing concert. I was very impressed by the entire experience, the docents, as well as the performance. The kids enjoyed it, and were very engaged through both the great presentation by the docents, as well as the interactive nature of the concert.
Again, thank you so much for the opportunity to partake in this experience, which I highly recommended to the other teachers at my school site.
