Embrace Your Dream
Description: Embrace Your Dream Assembly / Program: A musical assembly program with a curriculum
designed to motivate and inspire students through positive lyrics and songs. The EYD Assembly
Programs are approximately 60 minutes, filled with fun and excitement. Assembly includes:
Acknowledgements, Student and Audience Participation- featuring a familiar Sing-A-Long and
students “Open Mic” in regards to the motivational topics. Motivational Topics- How Music Affects
Our Character, Students Learn to Respect: Principal, Teachers, Parents, Students, and Self. A
Pledge to- “Stop Bullying and Start Creating Your Dream” . Performances- by Ms. Dale A. Baker
aka D’Angela. Embrace Your Dream assemblies encourage the students to “stay in school and
support each others dream as a team.”
* Classroom Segment: The Pre-Post EYD Classroom Worksheet(s), Ms. Baker shall provide for the
students prior to the scheduled assembly. The worksheets give the students an opportunity to express
their goals and dreams through writing and drawing and speaking.
Requirements: Auditorium / Stage-Outdoor Assembly, One microphone, PA system required for playing CDÂ
Visual Arts Description:
The visual arts school assemblies are created with art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture. Many artistic disciplines that will help your students get more engaged and understand all aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
