Description: The Kumeyaay are native to our San Diego area of Southern California. We come to your classroom with our trunk full of props, portraying “traders” and show the students Kumeyaay clothing, cooking tools, supplies used in daily life, acorns and herbs. Then we tell about some of the customs and end with a native legend. Requirements: Two long tables and two chairs

Many artistic disciplines that will help your students get more engaged and understand all aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
