Description: Cross-cultural learning opportunities in the performing arts traditions of the world by bringing native or native-trained teaching artists into San Diego area schools to perform and interact with K-12 students. This unique program provides student-interactive presentations in music and dance from seven broad culture areas: South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Latin America, Africa, North America, and Europe. These programs provide a wide range of opportunities for students to learn about the world and themselves through performing arts experiences. Requirements: Multi-purpose room, auditorium, or theater

Visual Arts Description: The visual arts school assemblies are created with art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking, and architecture. Many artistic disciplines that will help your students get more engaged and understand all aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
