Bill Bosworth taught High School Chemistry and Biology for ten years before creating The Science Alliance in 1990. After over 20 years "on the road" his goal is still to get kids excited about Science BEFORE they get to High School. His positive and passionate approach to teaching, combined with his fun and fast-paced presentations has resulted in thousands of students becoming interested in Science, participating in Science Fairs, pursuing further studies in Science and even embarking on successful careers in the Science field. Bill believes that children learn by doing and so all of his shows involve up to 50-60 VOLUNTEERS! We always stress safety and every presentation is designed to inspire enthusiasm!
The Science Alliance presents shows in CHEMISTRY - "Close Encounters of the Chemical Kind" and PHYSICS - "Lights, Camera, Action!", which was developed at the request of the S.C. Johnson for their Educational Series. We also offer ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES - "World Works!", SCIENCE FAIR SUCCESS - "Science Fair Survival!", ENTOMOLOGY "Bugs,Beetles & Bookworms!", which was developed at the request of the Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System and our latest exciting REPTOMANIA presentation featuring snakes, geckos and a savannah monitor!
Bill Bosworth's goal is to take the intimidation out of Science. He inspires and motivates kids as they experience the wonder and fascination of the Science that surrounds them!
